How to install Maestro Panel?
Professional or DIY enthusiast? The unique tongue-and-groove connection makes it perfectly possible to install Maestro Panel wall or ceiling panels on your own. Want to remove the cladding later on? That too can be done in no time. Start with a wooden batten framework, always keep a spirit level at hand, and finish the result with the accessories that best suit your needs.
Step by Step
Step 1: Prepare your space and panels
Make sure plastering and flooring are completed
Check that the room is dry (maximum 50% humidity)
Carefully open the Maestro Panel packages, inspect each panel for damage, and let them acclimatize in the room for 48 hours
Ensure proper lighting
Step 2: Build your batten framework
For walls:
Place wooden battens a maximum of 40 cm apart: horizontally for vertical panels, vertically for horizontal panels.
For ceilings:
Build a complete batten framework with crossbeams (40 cm) and intermediate supports (1.5 m).
Check with a spirit level or laser to ensure everything is perfectly aligned.
Step 3: Install the auxiliary profiles
For walls or ceilings:

Step 4: Start with the first panel
Snap a chalk line to ensure a perfectly straight first row (this determines your final result!).
Provide a 10 mm expansion joint all around, except with Maestro Panel Wainscoting.
For Maestro Panel WaterWall:
Work from right to left, with the groove facing upward and the fixing lip on the right.
Step 5: Fix all the panels
Staple the panels or use the original Maestro Panel fixing clips.
Mix panels from different packages to avoid colour variations.
For Maestro Panel WaterWall:
Apply sealant between the panels to ensure the water resistance of the wall cladding.
Step 6: Finish neatly
Install the Maestro Panel finishing skirting and fix it to the wall.
For Maestro Panel WaterWall:
Apply sealant between the panels and the end profile.
Check all joints and admire your result!
