Warranty conditions

Depro Profiles, manufacturer of the Maestro range and brand, provides a 10-year warranty.

The warranty period starts from the invoice date of the Maestro products. Only the addressee of the original invoice is entitled to the warranty conditions. Presenting a valid original invoice is therefore a strict requirement to qualify for warranty coverage.

The product warranty only covers manufacturing defects, hidden production flaws, and recognized defects in the materials used during the production of Maestro products. Defects can only be accepted if installation and maintenance have been carried out in accordance with Maestro’s instructions. As an additional rule, the environmental conditions in which the Maestro products are placed must also comply with the installation requirements (e.g. contact with water, humidity levels, etc.). For maintenance, a damp cloth should be used. If other products are applied during maintenance, they must first be tested on an uninstalled panel and can only be used after thorough inspection to confirm no adverse reaction on the Maestro product.

As is customary, all processed material is considered accepted. Panels with visible defects may under no circumstances be installed. If they are installed, any warranty coverage lapses. Products with visible defects must be returned to the dealer within 14 days of purchase. After return, the defective products will be replaced.

Any colour degradation over time is considered normal. Slight colour differences between products are inherent to the production process, which is why the installation instructions refer to mixing different packs during installation. When attaching heavy objects to or on installed Maestro products, such as light fixtures, coat racks, etc., these must be fixed to the supporting structure and not solely to the Maestro products.

All defects relating to manufacturing flaws, hidden production defects, and recognized material defects that may fall under our warranty must be reported in writing to the Maestro dealer within 14 days of detection. All defect reports must include a complete file: a description of the issue, details of the location in the home where the defect occurs, clear photos of the problem, and if possible the date of occurrence. This file must also include the original purchase invoice. An expert from Maestro may be sent to assess the issue, after which a report of the findings will be made.

If the claim is covered by the warranty, Depro Profiles will, at its sole discretion, either repair the defect free of charge or supply identical or equivalent materials, within the possibilities of the then-current Maestro product range, to replace the defective materials. Any other compensation, secondary damages, or reimbursement of installation costs are excluded. The costs for removal and replacement of the material are borne by the buyer. If the claim is deemed inadmissible, Depro Profiles reserves the right to charge the costs incurred to the claimant. This applies in cases such as incorrect installation, extreme environmental conditions, insufficient ventilation, incorrect auxiliary materials, etc., as described in the installation instructions.

The warranty is degressive, meaning that depending on the type of warranty, the value of the intervention decreases each year by 1/10th of the invoice amount.
