How to install Waterwall

A Waterwall-wall combines sleek design with the assurance of a waterproof finish. By carrying out each step carefully, you achieve a wall that is both functional and inspiring.

Step by Step

1

Acclimatise

Let the panels rest for at least 48 hours at room temperature (humidity 40–60 %) before you begin.

2

Create the sub-structure

Install a wooden batten frame (battens horizontal, centre-to-centre 40 cm) or prepare a flat wall if you will glue directly.

3

Install corner supports

Place wooden supports in all corners for the attachment of internal or external corner profiles.

4

Install base-profiles

Mount base profiles perfectly level and ensure they meet properly in inside corners.

5

Install internal or external corner profiles

Attach the main profile to the frame; the cover strip is clipped on later.

6

Install the panels

If necessary, cut the panels to the required size. Begin to the right of an internal corner profile. Place the panel on the base profile and screw it into the mounting lip (every 40 cm). Insert the final panel against the corner profile. If applicable, install together with the external corner profile.

7

Finishing

Install cover-profiles, seal seams with silicone, remove excess sealant, and finish corners and ceiling with suitable mouldings.
